The light fades up before your alarm time. Add a sound, or wake to light only.
Nature sounds and white noise help you drift off, and a Bluetooth speaker plays your own music.
From warm sunset orange to calm blue, as a reading light or a soft night light.
A ringing alarm pulls you out of sleep in one second. A sunrise alarm starts earlier and lets the room get lighter little by little, the way a morning works outside. Researchers have tested this kind of gradual dawn light. Here is what they found.
Journal of Sleep Research, 2010
That heavy, foggy feeling after waking is called sleep inertia. In a study of 16 people who found it hard to wake up, a slow 30-minute dawn before waking left them feeling less sleepy and more alert than a night without it.

Chronobiology International, 2013
In a lab study, 17 young adults slept only 6 hours a night. On mornings with a simulated dawn they reported better mood and well-being than on mornings with dim light or bright blue light.

PLOS ONE, 2020
Researchers at RMIT University found that people who woke to harsh, beeping alarm tones felt groggier than people who woke to more melodic sounds. Here you wake to light first, and can add a soft nature sound if you like.

These were small studies and everyone sleeps differently. The studies used research lamps, not this product. Nestauria is a lamp and alarm clock, not a medical device.
At night it works as a soft bedside lamp in 12 colours, with a remote so you can switch light and sound without getting up.
Clean white body, grey fabric front and a clear clock display with 12 or 24-hour time and snooze. About 18 × 15 × 11.5 cm, powered by USB-C.
A few fun facts about light, sleep and waking up.
It comes from the Latin circa diem, and it is the word scientists use for your body’s daily rhythm.
Measured in the lab, the human body clock averages about 24 hours and 11 minutes, so it needs a small nudge every day to stay on time. Light is the strongest signal it uses to reset.
Closed eyelids block most blue light but let much more warm red and orange light through, so a warm glow can reach you before you open your eyes.
When the sun is low, its light travels through much more air. The air scatters away the blue, and the warm reds and oranges are what’s left.
Before alarm clocks were cheap, “knocker-ups” in Britain and Ireland walked the streets before dawn, tapping on bedroom windows with long sticks. Some even shot dried peas at the glass.
In 1787, Levi Hutchins of Concord, New Hampshire, built himself an alarm clock that rang at one fixed time, 4 a.m., so he would be up before the sun.

Before your alarm time the light slowly gets brighter, like a sunrise. At the alarm time you can add a sound, or keep it to light only.
Yes, a few small studies. People who woke to slowly rising light felt less sleepy and in a better mood than without it, and people woken by harsh beeping tones felt groggier than those woken by softer, melodic sounds. See van de Werken et al., 2010, Gabel et al., 2013 and McFarlane et al., 2020. Everyone sleeps differently, and this is a lamp and alarm clock, not a medical device.
It is also a bedside lamp in 12 colours, a nature sound and white noise machine, and a Bluetooth speaker. A remote control is included.
